How It Works
We’re finally allowed outside and to make the most of it we’ll be taking our guitar lessons outdoors during the months of November and December and enjoying a strum and sing along with our acoustic guitars in some of Moonee Valleys most lovely park.
Active Students of Melbourne Guitar Academy are encouraged to bring their acoustic guitars, chairs, and a few snacks and will focus on learning classic campfire sing along songs ahead of Christmas and summer holidays!
We’ll provide the music, all you need to bring is:
- your guitar
- a folder or clipboard
- a chair
- drink bottle
- a hat
- sunscreen
- snacks or a plate to share
We can have up to 30 people attend so please use the My Music Staff booking system to register your place.
Parents are welcome to attend, supervise and even join in if they have their own guitars.
Sessions will run for approximately 50 minutes. Please ensure you are on time for pickup and drop-off.
This is a Covid Safe Event
- attendees will have to social distance
- vaccinations are encouraged but not required
- attendance is capped at 30 people

Session Times
Little Ninjas (ages 5-7) will run at 4:00-4:50pm
Junior Jammers (ages 8-12) will run at 5:00-5:50pm
Adult & Teen Sessions will run at 6:00 & 7:00pm

As these are outdoor sessions they may be called off due to rain or extreme heat. We will advise one hour before if sessions are going ahead.
